On Saturday, August 3, 34 volunteers helped prune, maintain and care for the entire rose garden by trimming and "dead-heading" old blooms and canes, then piling up the debris for compost. Volunteers also raked fallen debris and leaves to make the garden more presentable to visitors.

The crew was able to work the entire 5-acre garden and compost about 35 pounds of material!
