Papago Park, Phoenix, AZ
March 30, 2018
On March 30, 2018, Parks Project founder Sevag Kazanci made a pit stop in Phoenix to do some restoration work in Papago Park. Two other local volunteers braved an early start and desert heat to help pull tamarisk, a large, hardy invasive. The humble crew pulled 50 invasive plants over 4 hours, before wrapping up for some well-deserved lunch.
