On Saturday, April 20, our crew of volunteers went out into the Santa Monica Mountains to celebrate Earth Day and the start of National Park Week. Under the leadership of Ranger Joey with the National Park Service, our crew of 27 volunteers gathered at Rancho Sierra Vista (Satwiwa) in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.

Our crew of 27 volunteers cleared the area of invasive bristly ox tongue, and then planted 200 native species to help restore the area.
