Dietary Restrictions?We understand that everyone has different dietary needs and preferences. Our meal partners are committed to accommodating a wide variety of dietary restrictions and offering diverse meal options whenever possible. When completing your registration, let us know about any dietary requirements, allergies, or food sensitivities.
How many people will be on the trip?
An intimate group of like-minded travelers. Up to 40 guests, creating a social but still curated and connected experience.
Can I bring my child or pet on the trip?
Designed as an adult experience. All trips are 18+ only. We hope to introduce family-friendly trips in the future. Due to animal restrictions in National Parks, we are not allowing animals on these trips.
What are the accommodations like?
Elevated glamping with all the comforts. Upscale accommodations at AutoCamp Three Rivers and AutoCamp Joshua Tree featuring double occupancy (queen bed + pullout futon), private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and cozy living spaces. Think camping—but much more comfortable and design-forward.
What kind of activities can I expect?
A mix of adventure, learning, and creativity. Expect hikes, educational park experiences, creative journaling, and wellness components.
What is the physical activity level?
Flexible and tailored to you. Activity levels vary based on the group—designed so you can enjoy without overextending yourself.
Do I need travel insurance?
Strongly encouraged for peace of mind. Travel insurance is highly recommended, including coverage for cancellations and emergencies.
Can I Extend My Stay?
Absolutely — we highly encourage it. If you’re interested in arriving a day or two early or staying through Saturday or longer, AutoCamp is offering guests a 25% discount on extended stays. For assistance with booking additional nights, please reach out to hello@travelwithmeaning.com.

Easy access to both destinations.
Sequoia National Park (Three Rivers): Fresno Yosemite International Airport — about 1.5 hours away
Joshua Tree National Park: Palm Springs International Airport — about 40 minutes away

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations at a glance:
- 120+ days prior to departure: Full refund of trip cost
- 91–119 days prior to departure: 10% cancellation fee
- 45–90 days prior to departure: 15% cancellation fee
- 44 days or fewer prior to departure: 50% cancellation fee
All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date of the postmark. If you cancel 120 days or more prior to departure, a full refund of the trip cost will be made. Per-person charges for cancellations that occur less than 120 days prior to departure are as follows: 91-119 days prior to departure: 10% of the trip cost; 45-90 days prior to departure: 15% of the trip cost; 44 or fewer days prior to departure: 50% of the trip cost. This policy also applies to pre- and post-trip extensions. Any airline tickets issued are subject to the carrier’s refund policy. Leaving an expedition in progress, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of an expedition. We reserve the right to cancel any trip because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically infeasible to operate or because of good-faith concerns with respect to the safety, health, or welfare of the participants. If an expedition is canceled prior to departure, the tour operator will provide you with a full refund of monies paid to the tour operator; except in the event that the cancellation is due to a significant event that makes it infeasible to operate the expedition as planned, in which case the tour operator will provide you with a refund and/or credit toward a future trip equivalent to monies paid to the tour operator. If we cancel the trip in progress, you will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days not completed on the expedition. We will not be responsible for any refund for nonrefundable airline tickets or for any airline tickets purchased by the passenger directly from an airline or travel agent. We will not be responsible for any refund for nonrefundable ground transportation to and from the venue or for any ground transportation purchased by the passenger directly from a travel agent.

Parks Project participates in the Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation (TCRC # - 710393). Travelers may be eligible for restitution under certain circumstances. Claims must be submitted to the TCRC. Parks Project is a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.
